OUR iTTi NEW YORK TEFL INSTITUTE
Located on Broadway in the Flatiron Section of Manhattan, our TEFL training center in New York shares the neighborhood with those skyscrapers which have made New York a legendary place in the world–among those the Empire State Building. Our school features accredited 120-Hour TEFL Certification programs that are accepted by schools around the world, including the highest paying, conservative educational institutions in South Korea or in countries of the Middle East. The school is accommodated on the 11th floor of a modern, 12-storey Manhattan building with elevators and a receptionist on the ground floor. It features a modern space with air conditioning, internet access and convenient seating. There is a student lounge area with tables, chairs, TVs, refrigerator, and a modern coffee machine that provides for free-of-charge, different types of coffee all day. Besides covering the theory that a teacher needs to know, our trainees teach actual ESL students daily over a period of three weeks. They are from Algeria, Brazil, and Colombia at the moment. Teaching practice with students of different proficiency levels (beginning, intermediate and advanced learners) is followed by immediate feedback and evaluation as well as additional review of theory or teaching techniques to improve our trainees’ performance. With an MA TESOL and years of international teaching experience, we provide for training staff that will be able to bring out the best in our course participants. We have a proven track record of graduating superbly trained English teachers who are hired by the very best schools in the world. Our secret to success is small classes that allow for individual attention, our sincere belief in training quality, and a deep love for the teaching profession. If you would like to hear from our graduates, please visit Yelp and read what they have written about their experience with our TEFL school.
