• Dedicated housing agency service provided for permanent accommodation search Lunches & coffee compensated
• Opportunities for professional development and internal promotion Small classes (up to 15 students) of highly motivated children
• Comparatively low cost of living As a qualified, top-notch English teacher, you earn enough money that would allow you to save approximately 50% of your salary a year and do some traveling on weekends or during vacation time. As the examples show, just as in many countries around the world, TEFL/TESOL certification is truly rewarded in Armenia. The country welcomes foreign English teachers and treats them very well. Cost of Living
Compared to countries of the western world, the cost of living in Armenia is rather low. Average monthly spending for rent, utilities, food and transportation is about $286. The cost of rent really depends on the region, the type of dwelling and the location of the housing. If you are looking for an apartment in a relatively new, modern building, but a bit remote from the center, the average cost will be between $400 – $800 per month. If you are happy with an older building, you can find accommodation for only $200 – $400 per month offering necessities only.
