WHY TAKE A TESOL/TEFL COURSE IN BISHKEK, KYRGYZSTAN

Discover Kyrgyzstan with its combination of awe-inspiring mountains, clean air, and the extraordinary beauty of nature. Crystal-clear lakes, rivers, and rushing creeks; wide meadows and hiking paths offer an even more beautiful view behind every bend of the trail.
Kyrgyzstan is as special as its population–warm-hearted, simple people who marvel at archery and horseback riding. You’ll have a seat at their table even if you aren’t invited. They’ll always welcome you with open arms.
Bishkek is a modern city with offices, shops, restaurants, theatres, and universities. It is also the capital of the country. Originally a caravan rest stop, possibly founded by the Sogdians (ancient Silk Road people), on one of the branches of the Silk Road through the Tian Shan range, the location was fortified in 1825 by the khan with a mud fort.
Today, the city of over one million people is Kyrgyzstan’s financial center, with all of the country’s 21 commercial banks headquartered there. During the Soviet era, the city was home to many industrial plants, but most have been shut down since 1991 or now operate on a reduced scale.
