" If the lives of men can be measured in terms of years, ideologies in decades, and nations in centuries, then the unit measuring civilizations, born of the interaction among peoples, would be the millennium "

President Abdel Aziz Bouteflika Tweet

Welcome to the Mzab Valley in Ghardaia province. Welcome to the authentic land of hope and beauty hidden between rocks and dunes in the Sahara Desert. Here starts your long trip of life changing encounters and awe. To discover the land of the Sahara is to discover the millennium love between men & women and their land. A love to which witnesses their flexible and harmonious lifestyle in this complete harsh environment.
Ghardaïa, its main city, is located at a distance of 600 km southern the capital Algiers. It is the capital of the wilaya of the same name. It runs along the M’zab Valley over an area of 25 km. The M’zab Valley of Central Algeria was founded and is home to the Berber ethnic group known as the Mozabites over 1000 years ago. Living in seven oasis towns in an area that is considered to be one of the hottest in the world, the Mozabites are a thriving community with strong family ties. The other oases are Beni-Isguen, Melika, El-Ateuf , Bounoura , Berriane and Guerrara. All the towns of M’zab are notable for having preserved their original culture and cohesion between the communities throughout the years, virtually untouched by the outside world. The region ,particularly M’zab Valley, has been classified as “national heritage” by the Algerian State (1971) and part of the “universal heritage” “(UNESCO -1982), and conserved area in 2005.

work in Algiers as a tefl

The Country – Algeria is the largest country in Africa and the host of the most important open-space, natural museum (Tassili N’adjer in the Algerian desert) that recorded the history of man over the centuries. It is needles to mention the other sites which are as much important and interesting as Tassili N’adjer. This puts Algeria in the top ten most beautiful, attractive countries, not to mention its rank in the UNESCO in terms of its archeological, anthropological and ethnical heritage. Algeria is a large, living, open historical collection of remnants starting from the Stone Age, over the Berber heritage, the Roman footprints, the French colonial times to our modern times. Algeria is the country of diversity, since we can find various climates, landscapes, ethnicities, races, languages, backgrounds and religions. Although Islam is the most followed religion in the country, it is the leading religion of Algeria.
Teaching Opportunities in Algeria – Algeria is the largest country in Africa and the richest in terms of natural resources such as oil and natural gas. The country is also an important spot for tourists and multinationals; therefore, the need for communication becomes necessary and the mastery of English mandatory for every possible job position. The last decade noticed a growth in the demand of English learning opportunities. English has become a fundamental work tool, transcending its classic, communicative use. People nowadays tend to learn English for professional purposes rather than communication. This development requires the training and hiring of English language teachers, most importantly certified ones.
To satisfy this demand, a big number of international centers, organizations, and foreign languages schools came into existence, offering various types of training and certification programs, such as CELTA, TEFL, etc. … The latter trains and certifies people but also provides different kinds of English courses for all segments of society and to suit every field of economy.

Teaching English remains a booming industry in Algeria considering its image and size. Large parts of the country need to be explored and developed, so they become suitable for living and offer an adequate quality of life. Speaking English in Algeria guarantees you a good career, given the abundance of opportunities throughout the country.

As a TEFL center in Algeria, our role consists of satisfying the ever-increasing demand for English teacher certification of the broad public along with providing schools with certified EFL teachers to cover their increasing need for highly qualified English-teaching personnel. Teaching salaries are quite low and resources are limited. There are positions in state schools, language centers, universities and international schools. State schools offer the lowest salaries and international schools the highest. There are also a growing number of centers which offer in-company language training to the employees of various foreign companies. You need a degree for any paid positions and the higher your level of education, the better the salary you can expect.

A work visa must be organized before arrival in the country, and your employer must help you apply for employment authorization issued by the Algerian Ministry of Labour.”
