Richard Carvalho King is originally from England. After spending 20 years in the business world in and around London, he decided to completely change his life. In 2017, he moved to Brazil and began his English teaching career, starting with a 120-hour TEFL course, followed by a CELTA certification from Cambridge English. He later earned his 500-hour Teacher Trainer certification and is now an experienced educator specializing in TEFL/TESOL training on the beautiful island of Florianópolis.
Having traveled extensively, Richard enjoys meeting people from diverse cultures. He is passionate about helping others achieve their ESL goals, whether they aspire to teach in Brazil or anywhere else in the world.

How to apply for a TESOL course
Step 1
To begin the admission process for iTTi Florianópolis, you must first choose your starting date, complete the online application form, and pay a deposit of US $500.
Step 2
An iTTi Enrollment Counselor will then contact you with instructions on how to complete the required English proficiency test, if you are not a native speaker. You must obtain a B2/C1 level. A certificate will be provided by iTTi School of English upon request.
Step 3
Once you are notified of your acceptance to iTTi Florianópolis, your remaining tuition balance is due 30 days prior to your course starting date.
